Position description :
– Focus on Motor Drives (Servo Drives, Automation, Industrial, Robot Handlers) and fieldbus (CANopen/EtherCAT)
– To improve critical/key performance on motor control
– To design new solutions, and develop related firmware, to address in-application critical phases
– To help define new system architectures, together with the team, for the development of new products based on market trends and needs
– To cooperate with Division/SRA/regional Labs in fine-tuning and debugging regional customer requirements
– To maximize designs-in for ST total solution from whole portfolio
– To benchmark ST solutions vs competition and create competition analysis
– Master degree: automatic control, motor drives, power electronics, or other related majors.
– Well master electrical machinery
– Well master automatic control theory and modern control theory
– Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor / Induction motor and control methods
– Power Electronics
– problem solving, learn new technologies
– embedded firmware coding (C language), aligning with specifications and code versioning tools
– Teamwork spirit
– Mathematical modeling skills, award in Electronic Design Contest is a plus
Education level required : 5 – Master degree
