Position description :
Demand Planner is responsible for creating a reliable unconstrained layered demand forecast on a 0-to 5-year horizon, interacting with Groups and Regions, detecting and anticipating demand signals and trends (including NPIs), leveraging internal and external inputs
Major Activities will be:
– Oversee a set of priority customers/ products that share certain similarities or concentrate on specific part of customer portfolio/ market segment in close collaboration with demand planners on adjacent perimeter, depending on portfolio complexity
– Closely collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing/Product Marketing, CSR) and external stakeholders (e.g., customers, foundries, market analysts) to understand demand signals and trends (e.g., NPIs, product lifecycle, product changes)
– Interpreting and refining analytics-based output (e.g., statistical models)
– Develop a strong understanding of the market and especially customer needs by continuously collaborating with market, customer, and product experts and identifying relevant data sources
– Reach alignment with Groups and Regions, by interpreting and synthesizing information from all relevant sources, escalating to the Market Segment Demand Planning Leader when alignment cannot be reached
– Prepare for the Demand Review Meeting by providing the Market Segment Demand Planning Leader a synthesis of key demand trends and signals for the perimeter and areas that require escalation if consensus was not reached
– Continuously identify opportunities to improve the Demand Planning process, proposing and implementing these improvement opportunities
Education: Management Engineering Degree or Business Management/Administration Economics Degree
Personal Soft Skills: Problem solving and process improvement, ability to achieve goals through teamwork and to drive for result while keeping great relationship, quickly able to adapt and learn in every situation, ability to plan and execute long-term projects and to organize information into usable data.
