Position description :
Develop and qualify power semiconductor packages and processes for new product development needs.
Lead project requirement, design review, tooling DFM and co-work with multi cross-functional teams for new product developments and improvements.
Lead review and consolidation of project results for each project phases, failure analysis, improvement plan.
Management of project timeline, resources and logistics needs, direct and indirect BOM as needed by the project.
Evaluate Technical feasibility and select suitable suppliers for new process and materials. In addition, participates and support supplier selection/qualification and audit activities in conjunction with Global Supply Chain/ Quality / Supplier Development Engineering team.
Support both internal and external technical audit.
Act as communication channel between internal stake holders and internal customers.
Maintain efficient phase review documentation per APQP and company’s Corporate requirement.
Provide guidance and supervision to associate engineers.
Occasional international travel for internal knowledge transfer and supplier development/qualification.

Formulate and establish product design and performance objectives, normally in consultation with other functions, including research, marketing and production, as well as contractors, suppliers and customers
Respond to customer requirements, liaising with suppliers of raw materials and resolving production problems
Conduct test protocols and procedures and product evaluation; perform DOE and setup all the verification trials to assess the goodness of the proposed process
Transfer new technologies across a range of product categories
Write technical reports and cost estimates, documenting development work and implementing profit improvement programs
Generate data to substantiate claims regarding the safety and efficiency of new products
Education level required : 5 – Master degree
