Position description :
In the context of STM32 product line development, you will participate to the design of STM32 Microcontrollers built around ARM Cortex processors.
Your mission will be to define and implement Digital IPs (peripherals) requested by the market for future STM32. For this, you will have the opportunity to design various type of digital peripherals (refer to http://st.com/stm32).
You will learn to define the architecture of your IP in collaboration with SoC design, application and marketing teams, searching for the best compromise performance/cost.
You will plan your development activity by scheduling all intermediate releases (architecture definition, alpha, beta, final).
You will learn to implement your RTL design (preferably in VHDL) by respecting your schedule commitments.
You will define and implement the verification simulation test plan based on testbenches built around an ARM Cortex core.
You will work in strong collaboration with the digital verification team to run the functional verification based on UVM
You will learn to support the software teams developping the firmware drivers.
You will work with Application teams for customers support.

Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or higher qualifications is required
Strong and effective analytical skills/problem solving are a must
Basic Knowledge on HDL (VHDL or Verilog) is a plus, as well as scripting languages (PERL, Python) .
Notion about programming on STM32 are a plus
