Position description :
The candidate will be part of “Digital Design Methods” (DDM) Competence Center which is part of the “Methods, Tools and Infrastructure” team in the context of the RFC group.
DDM is responsible for defining, developing, deploying and supporting digital design methodologies for the entire RFC group, covering all design phases, from Power-Performance-Area analysis to physical implementation and signoff.
He will be involved in the optimization of the design methodology: tune the flow to achieve the best from the tools and to explore new features introduced by CAD vendor, with the target to provide to the design teams a more efficient digital design flow.
The candidate will learn digital design methodologies applied to the most advanced technologies adopted in the company (7nm and below), the requirements/problems associated with their use and how the automation can streamline the application on projects. The capabilities and practices of using CAD / CAE tools will be acquired
Computer science background is required, in particular for programming languages like Perl, TCL and Phyton. Notions of circuit design, in particular of physical implementation, is preferable.
Education level required : 4 – Bachelor degree
