STMicroelectronics is seeking for a bright, motivated, hardworking individual to fill the Sr Procurement Specialist position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to Operational Excellence.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, self-starting individual to join our team in the Purchasing Organization. This role is viewed as one of the key components of our business and will have a direct impact on our procurement and field operations in the future.
This position is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating activities in the purchasing of goods and services required in non-manufacturing and indirect material Sourcing.
Managing negotiation processes, Contract Management related to HR Site Services, Sales & Marketing, External Communication exhibition event for various department and other non-manufacturing purchases
Part of job rotation within the team, candidate will source and procure logistics services, solutions and capabilities that meet and exceed Global Logistics Warehousing Organization requirements and expectations, at competitive cost, through the effective execution of sourcing and procurement processes.
Reporting to the Global Procurement manager, to support the Global Purchasing Organization End-User segment in the implementation and enforcement of Company policy and the execution of Asia procurement events. Identify and qualify new vendors in line with Policies (Mitigate supply chain risk, reduce supplier dependency, increase Company’s leverage, innovate).
Conduct competitive bid exercises in line with Policies Organization service requirements at the best economic value).
Execute service contracts and agreements (Negotiate favorable terms & conditions, mitigate Company’s risk/exposure, protect Company’s interests).
Lead and guide stakeholders in the execution of procurement events (Assure compliance with Company’s Policies).
Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and performance evaluation with Key Suppliers (Manage supplier relationship, ensure alignment of service level and cost rendered versus contracted).
Consolidate and tabulate key Company’s logistics indicators (activity, spend, savings, continually improve performance whilst reducing cost).
To work together with Global Logistic Warehousing Organization team to define the scope of works for tenders.
Requirements: Degree holder in related function. Min 10 years of related work experience in Finance / Procurement /Logistics sector
Relevant procurement work experience in semi-conductor or electronics industry preferably Strength in Supplier Relationship Management (Logistics Service Providers)
Strength in MS Excel & Powerpoint is a must. Strength in purchasing process, project management, contract law, transportation law
Strength in analytical, communication, negotiation, influencing, reporting skill
· Min Bachelor Degree
· Min 10 years of related work experience in Logistics sector (Logistics department / Industry)
· Relevant procurement work experience in semi-conductor or electronics industry preferably
· Strength in Supplier Relationship Management (Logistics Service Providers)
· Strength in MS Excel & Powerpoint is a must.
