Position description :
The Microcontroller Division (MCD) is the largest division at ST Microelectronics and the world leader in the microcontroller market supported by our STM32 products.  
Leader in the Internet of Things market which is a rapidly expanding sector driven by strong growth, MCD Division asserts its ambition in the Microcontroller market (STM32) by continuing to innovate and to bring tomorrow’s solutions. 
MCD Quality Customer Support and Failure Analysis team is present on Rousset, Muar and Grenoble sites.
The engineer will be fully integrated in Rousset team, to ensure that the quality and reliability of delivered products satisfy the customer requirements.
He/She will provide support on Quality related topics for MCU and new MPU business.
The mission takes into account the management of external and internal customer complaints from receiving failing parts to final report release including the failure analysis such as:
non destructive analysis (package inspection, Xrays,…)
applicative analysis on electrical test bench,
ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) retest,
Electrical failure localization (EMMI, OBIRCh, micro-probing…)
The Quality Engineer will be the referent for problem solving methodology, he/she will be part of root cause analysis team and will challenge various problems from all production process steps and throughout the product’s life.
Main accountabilities:
Support the whole team on:
Customer problem understanding
Failure analysis
Problem solving
Customer communication (through Conf call, presentation, 8D reports…)
Work in cooperation with all ST organizations (Division marketing, operation, design, planning, manufacturing, back end, logistic, Labs, subcontractors, …) in France and abroad to avoid problem reoccurrence and ensures Continuous Quality Improvement Pan.

The candidate should have a previous experience in semiconductors with some knowledges in microelectronics, software programming and microcontroller.
